Dr. Michael Ivan is a neurosurgeon and Associate Professor at the University of Miami where he focuses on complex brain tumor and skull base surgery.

Dr. Ivan is the Director of Research for the University of Miami Brain Tumor Initiative within Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he also acts as the Site Disease Leader for Neuro-Oncology. He is also the Chief of Cranial Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncology Service at Jackson South Medical Center, and the director of the Brain Tumor Fellowship at the University of Miami. Dr. Ivan previously served as Vice Chairman of the Young Neurosurgeon's Committee for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and President of the Florida Neurosurgical Society and is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeon, AANS Section of Tumors, and the North American Skull Base Society.
